Prague Planetarium
Planetum is a brand of the contributory organization Observatory and Planetarium of capital city of Prague, which includes two observatories (Stefanik observatory, Dablice observatory) and one planetarium in Stromovka.
Planetum also became the first institution of its kind in the world to send its own satellite into orbit. The Planetum-1 satellite was launched on May 25, 2022, on a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Cape Canaveral. It is the first purely educational satellite in the world. In the foyer of the planetarium, you can take a look at its operations center.
Planetum is an important popularization partner of Czech science and industry. In the premises of the planetarium and observatories, various conferences and presentations are organized for the professional and lay public.
Planetum has also been the main implementer of the Educational Office of the European Space Agency project for the Czech Republic, ESA-ESERO Czech Republic, since 2024.

Polish Space Professionals Association
The Polish Space Professionals Association (PSPA) is a non-profit organization set up in 2016 as an effect of great collaboration and knowledge-sharing activities among space Polish professionals that met during their work at the European Space Agency. The PSPA serves as a vibrant hub for Polish professionals working in the space sector.
With a commitment to fostering the development of Poland’s space industry, PSPA actively engages in a variety of projects, including the implementation of the Polish Space Strategy. The Association provides invaluable support to students and graduates, helping them gain professional experience and facilitating easy access to the space community and industry, as well as to public administration in shaping space policy.
Through initiatives like SpaceTalks, an information campaign dedicated to investment in space, meetups, seminars, and workshops, PSPA promotes innovative ideas and encourages networking among scientists, industry representatives, and young professionals. As a beacon of inspiration and guidance, PSPA is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of space industry leaders and contributing to Poland’s growing presence in the global space arena.
Polish Space Agency
Polish Space Agency (POLSA) was established by the Act of 26 September 2014. The task of the Agency is to support the Polish space industry by combining the world of business and science. We also help to get provision for entrepreneurs in obtaining funds from the European Space Agency (ESA). An important aspect of the Agency’s activity is to promote the development of satellite technology that can be used in everyday life, including communication, navigation, environmental monitoring and weather forecasting.
Slovak Organization for Space Activities
The Slovak Organization for Space Activities was established in 2009 as an initiative of several young people. Following the schemes and experience from abroad, we wanted to create a platform connecting students, researchers, and amateurs – people of different ages and education, but with a common passion for the universe.
The main objective is the popularization of astronomy and space exploration in Slovakia. The universe is like an ocean, hiding mysteries and new worlds. It is full of unprecedented opportunities; therefore, we want to attract young people and get them interested in the space industry. We strive for them to find and use their potential!
The future belongs to the young generation, and since we believe that the future of mankind is in space research, another goal is the EDUCATION of children and youth. Through various projects and competitions, we represent the universe as a source of knowledge, adventure, and inspiration.
